[Ilugc] Backspace don' t work in telnet.

man stty

stty erase ^H


I am new in linux environment. I am accessing Redhat linux 7.1 machine
through telnet.
my backspace character doesnot work on login prompt it works on command
prompt.
When we can use Delete on login prompt why can't we use backspace?
Is there any way i can use backspace char. on login prompt?

Hi
   type stty erase and then press backspace button.
it will set that perticular key as u r erase key ...
just try it
