My apologies to everyone for replying to this though I explicitly stated
that I won't reply. I felt that I shouldn't take these personal attacks
lying down. Anyway, I'm not going to do any Microsoft / Windows vs.
Linux stuff...just defend the extremely ridiculous accusations brought
forth by Ramanraj.
Any rant advocating MS is diabolic
Hmmm...so much for an open-mind from a proponent of open-source.
However, I'm happy that the rest of the group has been more open to
debate and more tolerant to opposing viewpoints.

Hmmm...ok... I remember Mr.Ashokan Pichai talking about the difference
between our two communities. So, I would like to ask Mr.Ashokan
Pichai...is this the difference you were talking about? That the people
from my group are willing to learn Linux(and a lot of them are here in
this LUG) but the people of your community view an invitation to come
and see my group (and I had invited you guys to come and do a session as
well) as diabolic and evil? Well, in that case, then you're
right,Mr.Pichai and I was wrong..then there is a difference between our
communities.
BTW, Mr.Ramanraj, if you had actually bothered to take up my invitation,
you would have seen that my group meet at MIT was an event organized by
the students where you had a person from Polaris come and present. No
Microsoft presence.
To the members of the group, I would like to say this. We may
disagree...fine.We have opposing viewpoints ...fine. What I take as
fact, you may dispute...and vice versa....that's fine too. But I'm not
sure how any of you can justify going after someone solely by virtue of
where he's from rather than by what he says. Personally, after seeing
this mail, I'm very disappointed..because the discussion we have had had
been very civil and friendly (and sometimes humourous...)but of late it
has become personal.
Sorry for yet another...and hopefully my last Big Boring Diabolic Rant.
