[Ilugc] Apache Crash and hang frequently

What happens is Apache hangs frequently and the site is not showing, this
is not picked up by downtime monitors since Apache is not down but it only
hangs.
You should probably provide some more information if you want use to
help you.
1. What does "hang" mean? For example, it could mean that the client
cannot open a connection to the server. It could mean that the server
does not see an incoming connection from the client. In both these
cases the problem is not with Apache but with the network.
2. If the apache server is seeing the connection and not responding
what is the load level of the machine running the server? Are there
are lot of scripts being run by apache. Perhaps you need to optimise
those scripts.
3. What is the version of various software that you are running? What
version of Apache? What version of Linux? This is only relevant if
the previous two queries have been resolved.
