In our testing
Lab we have ADSL 2+
CPE which has both ethernet and USB port.
I am facing problem to configure USB port in Linux
environment.
Post the output of:
/sbin/ifconfig -a
/sbin/route -n
/sbin/lsmod
cat /etc/resolv.conf
Since the modem has ethernet, you can use the ethernet
card on your system to connect with the modem.
Which distribution are you using? You might have the
roaring penguin client already. Use,
# adsl-setup
to configure it and connect using:
# adsl-start eth0 <username>
Replace eth0 with your ethernet interface.
If you don't have it already, get rp-pppoe-3.5.tar.gz
from here:
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/penguin/open_source_rp-pppoe.php
Extract it and simply run the go or go-gui script
within the directory:
# ./go
OR
# ./go-gui

SK
