[ilssa] introductions!

Hi, I'm really excited about this list & this organization! Having been
laboring at tedious tasks all by my lonesome for years it's nice to know
there are other crazies out there.
Wondering if it would be appropriate for everyone to post introductions &
links to their projects, if applicable, to the list?
I'll go ahead and start. I'm Nicole, I mainly work in textiles these days
(though my background is in the book arts) & relish the utterly absurd
tedium of astronomically huge projects done by hand. I make rugs,
primarily, as well as embroidering, sewing & fabric collage.
My main project right now is an embroidery blog in which each entry is
hand-embroidered & includes mouse-over text and links, which can be found at
http://embloggery.blogspot.com. I also have some images of other artwork on
my flickr page at http://flickr.com/photos/quingofhearts/
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is up to!
