In the last days of 2020, we’re thinking of you, the ILSSA Frameworks themes of
Care + Pace, and creating something new together in 2021.
ILSSA is delighted to be invited to create virtual programming for Printed
Matter’s Virtual Art Book Fair <https://pmvabf.org/> (VABF), online February
24-28.
We wish to invite you to participate in creating ILSSA’s offering.
1) ILSSA Skillshare Channel
We’d love to host your skillshare on the ILSSA Vimeo channel. This “skillshare”
could share any aspect of your impractical labor, including your process,
techniques, and/or ideation exercises, as well as support practices that
facilitate your creative practice, such as meditation, cooking, birdwatching.
Consider the “skillshare" expansively, experimentally, and literally. Perhaps
you’ve already made instructional videos for your students that you’d like to
submit to the ILSSA channel? Perhaps you’ve never made a video, and would like
to consider making one for this opportunity? Perhaps you’d like to record a
video version of a prior ILSSA Residency skillshare? Let us know!
2) ILSSA Care + Pace Hour
Might you be interested in programming one to five minutes as part of the ILSSA
Care + Pace hour? For this live Zoom event, we envision a series of brief
reflective exercises, readings, offerings, meditations centered on the themes
of care and pace, offered by you, our interested members.
We won’t need your submissions for either of the above until January 28.
Right now, all we need is to gauge interest.
If you would like to participate in either (or both!) of these programs, kindly
reply by Friday, January 1.
