The ILSSA Study group is a new experimental project, where we read and reflect
together on a text that is essential to our understanding of impractical labor.
We will be diving into the stacks of the Library on the ILSSA website, as well
as inviting new Library contributions from all members. Our first text will be
“Against Competition” by Marc Fischer of Temporary Services, an inspiring text
to the formation of ILSSA. This resource is available as a PDF or ePub on the
Half Letter Press website.
ILSSA Co-Operator Bridget Elmer (Local 347 Shop FS) will moderate the
discussion and get things started with a few initial questions. This will be an
open, organic discussion, so please feel free to prepare questions or thoughts
that you would like to contribute!
