Exploring the Place for Procedural Audio

Game audio techniques are continuously evolving. Procedural and generative
music techniques are increasingly being used to augment conventional
recording techniques.

These processes offer tantalising possibilities for music and sound in
games including the potential for great variety.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of both conventional and
procedural audio production? What are the implications for development?
When is recording or performance the way to go? And what is the middle
ground between these two?

Event starts at 7 pm, and, as always, we'll throw in a lovely pub visit for
afterwards.
