Hi Nagaraj,

Thanks for the skill.

I have 1 issue when trying to set the origin for the center of shapes with this
skill.

When I click on via, pin or cursur point to set origin, 1 window opens and
tells that ur
origin has been changed that particular point.

When click on shape to set origin, the shape is selecting but that window
itsefl not opening.

Is I m doing anythng wrong?Correct me pls...

Thanks,
Ismail.A.

Load this skill program and this helps you to set your origin to any
elements on layout.

To load the skill type in allegro command line
Skill load("vc_SetOrigin.il")

Once loaded type setorigin in allegro command line to execute the skill.

Best of luck!!

Thanks,
Nagaraj.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] reset origin...

Hi,

I want to reset the origin to a pad on a specific part. I know the
location
of that pad by doing a "show element" on that pad. I tried entering the
XY
coordinates in "Setup/Drawing Size/Move Origin" and when I enter the X
(or
Y) value, then click on the other entry box, it zeros out the value I
just
entered. I *though* it worked once...but I can't get it to work. 15.2,
last HotFix.

What am I doing wrong? Or, is there an easier way to move the origin to
a
component pin?

Austin
