Load this skill program and this helps you to set your origin to any elements on layout. To load the skill type in allegro command line Skill load("vc_SetOrigin.il") Once loaded type setorigin in allegro command line to execute the skill. Best of luck!! Hi, I want to reset the origin to a pad on a specific part. I know the location of that pad by doing a "show element" on that pad. I tried entering the XY coordinates in "Setup/Drawing Size/Move Origin" and when I enter the X (or Y) value, then click on the other entry box, it zeros out the value I just entered. I *though* it worked once...but I can't get it to work. 15.2, last HotFix. What am I doing wrong? Or, is there an easier way to move the origin to a component pin?
