Try turning off Bubble and Smooth. This seems to work for me when I'm
working with small miters.

Thank you Gerry. But when I set it this small it automatically pops
adjoining miters on the trace to this small size. Is there a way to avoid
this side effect. I guess I could make a little script and alias that sets
5 or 10 mils for when I'm just messing around with the small miters.

In slide trace command, v15.1, what is the setting that keeps me from making
the miter on a corner smaller? When I try to get the miter length small, it
blows up and eliminates the miter altogether.
