Hi Everyone,

I attended a Cadence Webinar for the new 15.2 release, this morning and
wanted to inform everyone on a couple of points mentioned. No, it did
not cover the changes between 15.1 & 15.2 software, it only covered the
new license issues and product code changes. The product code changes &
EOS/EOL are now on Sourcelink and are public information.

FIRST - due to Product code changes, the LICENSE structure will be
changing when we upgrade to version 15.2 (you will need a new
license.dat file). Not all at once, but over time. Down level revisions
(Product Code) will be supported with new license structures until EOL
(end of life) on old product codes. Here is the EOL list we were given
(EOS is end of support):

SECOND - Cadence support of version 14.2 Concept/APD/Allegro ENDS on
approximately December 31st, 2004

Those are the two points I thought were most important. If you have any
other questions, go to Cadence Sourcelink for more information on
Cadence Product Code changes and version 15.2 release of software.
Version 15.2 was released on 6-28-04

Regards,
