I use IPF export/Import as well.

Tip: When you import change your Class to Drawing Format > Tassy or
Bassy (or other created subclasses). You can also use Board Geometry
Class.

Note: If you do this it will not create Pen subclasses under the
Manufacturing Class.

Create Detail > at one time had an issue with figures but that may have
been corrected, I don't remember the version it was some time ago.

I have been using IPF due to the fact I get readable/searchable text
within my PDF plots

I scale to whatever fits the page.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Assembly Drawing

Hey Guys,

For those of you that create an Assembly Drawing, do you scale up the
outline/assemblies to better fit in the drawing?

For years I had used File -> Export -> IPF to create an Intermediate
Plot File for both Top and Bottom.

I would then use File -> Import -> IPF, then RMB to scale and mirror as
necessary.

Lately I've been using Manufacture -> Dimension/Draft -> Create Detail.

How do you create your Assembly Drawing? Is there another way (better?)
that I'm not aware of?

Thanks!
