Gene, There is no problem having and using both - If you use The "Viewer Plus" and also autosave there could be conflicts. But not the 'Free Viewer" Gerry Meier Sr. PCB Designer Freedom CAD Services, Inc. Voice: (603) 864-1300 x1350 Alt. I seem to recall in the past that one should not install the viewer if you have the regular tool installed... the viewer seemed to overwrite something. Is this still true? What is overwritten? Is there an install order if you need to be able to run both? I would like the viewer to use from time to time without using my limited routing licenses, and some of my users need to be able to view designs from laptops when they are not connected to the "home office" for network license access. When he brings boards up they come up OK, but the Options/Find/Visibility tabs usually seen at the right of his screen are missing. I looked in the viewer to see if you could undock them like you can in Allegro, but it doesn't appear you can. Does anyone know where else this portion of the screen might be hiding?
