[icon-discuss] turning off the alarm?

I set up an appointment with an alarm just to check it out. The unit
came on, but didn't mention the appointment. It kept beeping even
though I deleted the appointment. I had to reset the unit because it
wouldn't reboot either. How are you supposed to turn off alarms?
