No, your keyboard is not being rude!
It is your braille++ or icon telling you to unplug the USB device.
You will never be able to turn it off if a USB device is plugged in.

Hi.

My keyboard keeps waking the braille plus after I turn the braille plus off. It
is a wireless
USB mouse and keyboard combo. If I don't unplug the keyboard before I turn the
braille plus
off, the braille plus will immediately come back on again and say
""kensington kensington si70 wireless desktop set found.""kensington kensington
si70 wireless
desktop set found."
I have it plugged into that cable thing that gives the USB and power ports.
