move the unpacked book files to the books folder on the icon. Author info is updated automagically the next time you open the bookshelf. Also, yes, I think we need access to the unpack tool. Going to try an experiment this week.

Hello, What I do is this.I convert the book so that I have an HTML document. Then I copy that into a TEXT file. Then I move that file to the Icon. Because I only do this with one or two books at a time, I don't bother with updating the author stuff. I've not attempted moving all the files of an unpacked book to the Icon. I'll give that a try and see how it does. I suspect that I will have to manually update Author information.Dan. But bookshare through a browser works just fine. You will need to get your book from another computer, Mac, Linux or PC and unpack it. Then move it to the Icon. This is why I've suggested that the Linux Unpack tool on the BookShare site be made to run on the Icon/Braille-Plus. Then you could use the Browser, log into Bookshare, get your book and unpack it on the Icon/Braille-Plus using the Linux unpack tool.
