Truly I have a hard time "buying" that. I think sometimes companies expecially those producing adaptive technology raise the prices because our market is a small one. In this case however, I am having a hard time with the idea that the Icon itself is $1395 and it's docking station or keyboard if you will is half the price? That is just a difficult thing for me to swallow. Now this for me is not about not havingt the money. Hello Kaye,
You asked why the price went up from $395 to $600 for the docking station. I don't work for LevelStar but just guessing I would say look at the fall in the value of the American dollar in the last six months or so. Since many of the parts in these units probably comes from outside the United States, how could there not be an impact on the price? The dollar is reaching record lows against just about every foreign currency and I doubt LevelStar had any kind of crystal ball going when they set the prices a couple years ago. I would be surprised if more technology devices from all companies doesn't begin to rise if the dollar doesn't find a floor soon.

negative to say

so please forgive me in advance, but I need to know, what is it

about the

docking station that makes it worth $600? When I first purchased

my Icon, I

was told  like many others that the "retail price" would be $395.

Why did

that change? What features if any were added to cause such a

drastic upgrade

to the pricing.
