Peter: Regarding the wireless and the BP doesn't see your network, when you tried to select your network did you turn on SSID? John Gunn Original Message: ----------------- From: peter Link peter2369@xxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 26 Aug 2008 09:01:48 -0600 To: icon-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [icon-discuss] Braille+ USB bridge I received my BP+ a few weeks ago but have not been able to establish either a USB or wireless internet connection. When I follow the steps in the User Guide and get to the step for selecting the networks to bridge, both will not highlight at the same time and I get the message, "to create a network bridge, you must select at least two LAn or high speed internet connections that are not used by internet connection sharing." I have a Pentium IV running XP Pro and my ISP is comcast cable. MY LAN shows sharing is off. I have had two sighted people try to establish a connection with no success. I also have a 802b-g wireless network set up and working fine with a laptop, another PC and the Maestro PDA, but the BP+ shows several networks in the neighborhood, but does not show my network. I sent the BP+ back to APH for servicing but the response was that it works fine for them. My wireless is set for mixed mode so that can't be the problem. What is the problem?
