A vote regarding the following specification change is scheduled to take
place in the November 2, 2018 IBIS Open Forum teleconference:
* To include approved BIRD196.1, Prohibit Periods at the End of
File Names <http://ibis.org/birds/bird196.1.docx> , in the set of changes
to be incorporated into IBIS 7.0.
The intention to seek approval for inclusion of BIRD196.1 in IBIS 7.0 was
agreed to in the October 16 IBIS Editorial Task Group meeting (see minutes
<http://ibis.org/editorial_wip/minutes/m101618-editorial.txt> ). The
original motion to include changes in IBIS 7.0 was made July 20
<http://ibis.org/minutes/min2018/m072018.pdf> .
IBIS members in good standing but unable to attend Friday, November 2, may
vote on the motion by email to IBIS Secretary Randy Wolff
(rrwolff@xxxxxxxxxx <mailto:rrwolff@xxxxxxxxxx> ), until the roll call
vote takes place.
PLEASE REPLY AS FOLLOWS IF VOTING BY EMAIL:
You may vote "Yes" to approve inclusion of BIRD196.1 in IBIS 7.0.
You may vote "No" to reject inclusion of BIRD196.1 in IBIS 7.0.
You may "abstain".
