done. used public IBIS 7.0 Interconnect Model example from Micron.
New ARs:
- Weston will look at making a more simple unified file for the readme
document.
- Lance and Randy will work on posting the tschk2 code and executable to the
website.
Discussion:
a. TSCHK2.1.0 final approval and code release
Atul released another version of TSCHK2. Randy did some tests on converting
G and H parameters. This version appears to do the correct calculations for
conversion between normalized and unnormalized values. The current test
cases are OK, but the format would be better with more significant digits.
The new version of tschk2 correctly prints the output Touchstone version
1.0 or 1.1 in the header comments of the file. For later versions, it does
not print that first line in the comments. Randy proposed that we release
the code and executables. The group agreed.
The readme.html file is not updated. The group discussed suggestions for
updating that file. We will not wait for this file update for the code
release. [AR] Weston will look at making a more simple unified file for the
readme.
[AR] Lance and Randy will work on posting the code and executable to the
website.
b. IBISCHK7 BUG247 Update
Randy added a change to the bug report to recommend just changing the BOOL
name to something else in all the source code files.
c. IBISCHK7 BUG248 Draft 1 - crash ibischk IASSERT
Code developers that commented said that they normally change the code to
work around IASSERT.
Michael suggested that we check with more code license users to see if they
normally change the code a lot before linking it into their programs. Maybe
the code source needs an overhaul to make it more of a library.
Randy asked about changing the website folder listed in the bug reports for
test files. Maybe the website folder structure needs to change to make it
more usable.
this bug is classified Fatal since it crashes the program and any calling
program.
d. IBISCHK7 BUG249 Draft 1
This bug is about a memory leak. It has an associated file (AMI) that needs
to be stored with the bug report. Michael added that the AMI file is valid
and works correctly. The parser checks it OK. When the parser is part of a
larger flow such as called from an application, the memory used for
checking is not always released.
