- Review of minutes for October 22

- Bob Haller and Lynne Green working on Docs.
- Barry enlisting people to cover remaining Documentation items.
- Meeting schedule
- Everyone willing to move meeting 2 hours earlier. Next meeting to=20
be scheduled accordingly.
- PCB EAST Feedback
- People liked what they saw. There was one issue that generated some=20
serious discussion. Some discussion of overlap of parser and Quality=20
checks.
- People are eager to see the Documentation.
- Documentation
- Lynne sent out Zip file containing individual documents received,=20
and a summary of who is working on which topics.
- IQ Header section - Kim - received.
- General characteristics, ibischk - Todd - coming.
- Discussion: Mike searched ibischk3, found 911 "printf" strings,
431 are error/warning messages. May not be practical to maintain
a list of all checks in ibischk. Bob Ross does not know of any
documentation of ibischk messages. There are 17 licensees for
ibischk3, 14 companies.
- Need to document what ibischk can be trusted to check, and what
Quality committee needs to address beyond that.
AR: Bob to ask Atul for any documentation for ibischk messages.
- Component - Barry - not completed.
- Model general - Lynne - received.
- Model I-V - Bob - received.
- V-t - Barry -not completed.
- Ramp & waveform - Mike - received.
- Categorizing errors - Eckhard - received.
- Spice/Bench correlation - Greg - received.
- Model limitations - Barry - not completed.
- Clamp curves - Roy - not completed.
AR: Lynne to send email to Bob H. on non-monotonic check table.
Documentation is arriving in many formats, with various amounts of=20
content. Flat text is lowest common denominator for the working=20
document.
The committee will focus on content of the documents not the format.=20
Lynne will accept both Word and text files. Eventually Word, Txt and pdf
will all be available (like the IBIS spec).
AR - Lynne - Also put documents into flat text form for committee=20
review.
AR - ALL - download and read the zipped Docs, be prepared to discuss=20
their preferences for content at the next meeting.
Note: Quality email reflector strips off attachments. Attachments for=20
posting should be sent to Barry.
Mike proposed that a pointer to IBIS-Quality repository at SiSoft be=20
added to the message trailer to aid in locating the documents - no=20
objections.
Roy - wife Charlotte could provide a Style Guide.
