Barry Katz chaired the meeting.

- Review of minutes for December 3, 2002
   Accepted as written.

- Announcements
              - EIA Call for Patent Disclosure
   No companies declared a patent.

- AR Review
   Adam Trombone's new address.
   Bob Ross emailed Atul requesting message list a second time.  Not=20
likely to get a reply.  Mike LaBonte's search on strings may be the=20
best we can do.  Mike searched the binary, and Bob searched the source
code.
   AR: Bob will compile the messages.
   "Stair stepping" has been rolled into documentation.

- Opens for new items
   Bob Haller: Indexing of the documents, allowing cross-referencing.

- Schedule for next meeting
   No meeting December 31.
   Meeting Jan 7th, and every two weeks after that.

- Detailed Documentation review
   Barry and Bob has prepared an index of the major sections.  This=20
will allow naming of documents by section, and make it easier to=20
cross- reference documents to the checklist.  Index posted as
iq_index.txt.
   Section 1: IBIS Quality Summary (IQ_Quality_summary.txt)
   Intent is file contains a summary of its own quality.  Each buffer=20
model has a quality level.  Each component has a quality level. =20
Entire file has a quality level.
   Item 0: filled out some wording.  Item 1: major updates.  Item 2=20
and 3 mostly as they were.
   Models must be IBIS 3.2 or higher.  ibischk warnings must be=20
explained if they can not be eliminated.  ibischk errors must be=20
fixed. Require Standard load and Vmeas on drivers, Vil and Vih on=20
receivers for Level 0. Re-order pin and package bullets in component=20
section?  Package parasitics not mentioned in Level 0.  IP providers=20
might not know much about package parasitic values.  All package=20
parasitics, checked for for correctness and completeness.
   Make [Model Selector] and [Diff Pin] the 3rd and 4th bullets. =20
Check for completeness and correctness.
   Models: visual inspection of C_comp value; check for model spec and=20
standard load parameters; ramp data validated against V-t curves;=20
inspect I-V and V-t curves; validate buffer switches through Vmeas=20
under Standard Load; and simulate buffer.  Simulate receiver, check=20
clamp turn-on voltage and clamping currents (need to define a test
circuit).
   Finish this document next week.  Discussion by email until then.
   Start Section 2: General File Characteristics.
