Walter, Just a few comments - mostly on package BIRD versus interconnect model BIRD, and B-element: Slide 6: Change third sub-bullet to EBD improvements will be proposed in a separate BIRD based on the interconnect model BIRD, when completed [The last bullet is not necessary since the statement depends upon passage of the EBD improvement BIRD. It is still a proposal.] Slide 16: Do not use vendor-specific B element terminology in the presentation. A correct implication is that model is a potentially flawed of dated implementation of the complete [Model] keyword, as documented in the IBIS specification. We need to keep the presentation vendor-neutral. Instead use many implementations of [Model] or something else that is generic to cover implementations in many EDA tools. Slide 17: package BIRD à interconnect model BIRD ---- I havent reviewed the graphics, but it shows a mixture of capitalization conventions that might be hard to track.
