I was reviewing some old comments on the C_comp BIRD, which borrows much of the
same language from BIRD189. Credit goes to Curtis Clark for noticing this in
the C_comp BIRD. I realized I better check the Interconnect BIRD for the same
language...

Randy,
Good catch!
This line should be:
"Number_of_terminals matches the number of terminals used in an associated
IBIS-ISS subcircuit, or the number of ports plus 1 (N+1) used in a
corresponding associated Touchstone file."
I would move this line, with the change I made, to the previous section
"Number_of_terminals rules:"

Subject: [ibis-interconn] BIRD189.4 clarification
I'm a little confused by a sentence found on page 20 of BIRD189.4 under the
Terminal_number section of Terminal line rules:
"This value will also match the number of terminals used in an associated
IBIS-ISS subcircuit, or the number of ports plus 1 (N+1) used in a
corresponding associated Touchstone file."
This sentence seems to be describing a requirement for the Number_of_terminals
rules. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Randy
