Arpad,

We have used the Micron example for our discussions, but the example is not in 
the BIRD at all.  It is probably too lengthy to be incorporated, although I 
don't think we've even discussed adding it to the BIRD.

Hi Bob,

An updated Micron example was sent out to the Interconnect task group on 10/23. 
 The issue you show with signal_names not matching between the EMD Pin List and 
Designator Pin List was specifically addressed in that update.  Your analysis 
of the error is correct, and the updated example fixes this.

I will go through the example one more time to see if it matches the latest 
syntax for the rails. We should post this final example on the Interconnect 
site once available.

I attached the 10/23 example again for your reference.

Some quick comments related to draft28:

Page 24 top - Delete A_gnd (under Qualifier_entry) and move the text about 
A_gnd to the Terminal_type section: (as shown on page 304-305 of IBIS V7.0)

  *   A_gnd

Terminal_type A_gnd defines a connection to the simulator global reference 
node.  The A_gnd node can be used at any interface.
Terminal_type A_gnd is not required under File_TS or File_IBIS-ISS.
If present under File_TS, Terminal_type A_gnd may be used only once on the 
N+1th terminal line.
If present under File_IBIS-ISS, Terminal_type A_gnd may be used any number of 
times on any of the terminal lines.

At page 25:, add the A_gnd bullet and text, as shown on 310 of IBIS V7.0


        *   At any interface
           *   Terminal_type A_gnd is available at any interface and without 
any Terminal_type qualifier

Page 25, table 41:

Add the A_gnd line similar to Table 47, page 310
Merge the Aggressor_Only cell and the blank cell below it to show the 
Aggressor_Only entry on the same line as the qualifier entries.
