No patents were declared. Minutes from Aug. 10 were approved.

The team reviewed the Section 10 reformatting provided by Lou Church of

TechAmerica. Walter Katz pointed out that the section and sub-section

headers mix upper/lower cases and styles throughout the document.

Bob Ross asked whether using sub-section numbers in Section 10 would

be useful elsewhere in the document, or should be maintained only in

Section 10.

Walter proposed that the AMI-related text forms several logical documents:

- DLL programmers' reference

- Language reference

- Reserved parameters listing

Walter added also that examples in Section 10 should not use the |
character.

Arpad Muranyi suggested that double-spacing be used on paragraph separations
and

that indentations be used for subsections. Courier New is acceptable for

examples. Five levels of sub-section numbers are used in all. Arguments

to DLLs should use italics or different fonts, for clarity.

Randy Wolff also noted font size differences between sections. Bob
suggested

Arial 14 for the top-level headers. Lou will be asked to update section 10

(or section 6C?) after meeting with us.

Michael Mirmak reviewed the version 1.1 list of BIRDs and IBIS versions.
Highlighting

will be fixed in the next release, with BIRD111.3's status regarding the
parser

to be updated to "no". BIRD127.1 will be updated to "Pending", with
BIRD127.2

expected shortly. BIRD132 will be updated to note approval on August 5.

Michael Mirmak will post Bob Ross's documents on Section 6C to the website

(Bob will resend it to the reflector).
