Please find enclosed the December 8 checklist for IBIS 7.0 editorial
activities, also posted to http://www.ibis.org/editorial_wip/. The draft IBIS ;
7.0 document from the same date has been posted to
http://ibis.org/editorial_wip/ver7_0_181208.docx.
Several important items to note about the latest draft:
1. The document line-spacing has been regularized according to the rules
noted below.
2. The tables have been centered and now use a common width, so that the
tables are no wider than the page margins. Most of the early tables spanned
the entire page width anyway.
3. Per the checklist item, all notes associated with tables are now part of
a merged single cell row at the bottom of the table.
4. Per the checklist item, all Allowable Data Format tables all use the
vertical column headings and other formatting we agreed upon at the last
meeting.
5. All instances of "Tx" and 'Rx" use those spellings.
6. Some figure numbers were corrupted in the earlier draft, showing up as
the number 0. This has been corrected.
Comments on all the above are welcome.
We are scheduled to meet this week during the IBIS-ATM Tuesday time slot,

IBIS Document Formatting Rules
Two blank lines follow each keyword
No blank lines follow headings
One blank line precedes and follows each table and figure
No blank lines between captions and figures or captions and tables
One blank line before each third-level heading, except after a second-level
heading
All first-level headings start on a page break
No blank lines precede second-level headings immediately following first-level
headings
No blank lines precede third-level headings immediately following second-level
headings
Second-level headings shorter than a page may not start on a page break
Third-level headings are not required to start on a page break
Two lines precede each function definition
Two lines precede each parameter, except after a heading
