Please find enclosed the November 7 checklist for IBIS 7.0 editorial
activities. The November 7 draft IBIS 7.0 document itself has been posted to
http://ibis.org/editorial_wip/ver7_0_181107.docx.
This version has made all the summary tables consistent with the "Required" and
"Default" entry definitions decided over the past two meetings. In addition,
this version corrects errors such as "the the", "teh", ".." and the like. Some
broken Section listings at the beginning of Chapter 3 have been repaired.
Finally, quite a few examples had incorrect double quotation mark characters,
particularly in the AMI section. These have been fixed.
Note that the final (Section 10.12) summary tables are now in alphabetical
order by Reserved Parameter name, but the other tables follow the order in
which the Reserved Parameters are defined in their respective Sections.
We will meet again this Friday. As we are now moving into the "Finalization"
steps in the checklist, most work will be completed offline, with meetings used
to confirm the changes were implemented correctly. As a result, we should not
need to use the IBIS ATM Task Group timeslot from now on. We're very grateful
to Arpad Muranyi and the IBIS-ATM team for allowing the Editorial Task Group to
use their timeslot to help finalize IBIS 7.0
We remain on-schedule to submit an IBIS 7.0 document to the IBIS Open Forum
before year's end.
