One of our ENSIL colleagues from Poland has sent a message to the ENSIL
community, asking for your memories of James Henri (see below). He hopes to
publish a special issue about James, which will contain contributions from
James' friends from around the world.
Will you please co-operate with Jan on this project - not only those of you who
are part of the ENSIL community, but also other school library communities
throughout the world. Please pass Jan's request to as many groups as possible.

I was a friend of James Henri (intensely) only to the Internet. We never met
face to face. Now he is gone, but he did so much and for many of us that he
will be much left in our hearts after him. The Latin proverb fits him: NON
OMNIS MORIAR.

Let us not let the work of his life be forgotten.
Each of James's friends can write memories in their own language and we will
