American author Jacqueline Woodson has been announced as the ALMA 2018
Laureate! While not one of our nominees from last year, what a fabulous choice
by the ALMA jury! See the full press release on the ALMA website here:

Woodson's website including her long list of novels, poetry, and picture books
you should check out if you have not read her work.
And don't forget to get your ALMA nominations in for IASL's contributions this
year by 10 April. Please add your nomination ideas at this Google
Form<https://goo.gl/forms/v6qoXTmOxb7xn6x12> and fill out the information
regarding your nominated author, illustrator, storyteller, and/or reading
promoting organisation or individual.
