I have 8 teams and there's a bit of a wait time, but it depends on the
amount of enemies.

Is the void impassable? If so, make sure it's added to the
passable_terrain= flag for the enemies that are supposed to be on that
map.

The passive skill with chance, is the chance flag in the skill file?
Because if so that might be your problem there. My suggestion here is
to make an effect, give it a ridiculous duration like 50000, and put
it on a buff skill that the AI can start out with using on itself,
that way the creatures get the chance increase.

How many enemies do you actually have on your map?

Hi,

I've noticed some bugs while creating my latest map. The other three
official maps in my pack still require tweaking as they're currently a tad
easy to beat, but this one brings us closer to wrapping up the first arc,
and I have been working on it for hours. It's nowhere near finished--I want
more enemies on it, for starters.

The map involves one good character with 50k health, who is responsible for
getting another unit (who isn't physically present on the map as he won't be
doing anything) from one end of a long path to the other, where the escape
terrain is. On either side of her path is the dark void, wherein dwell the
denizens of the Darkness Between Stars, and although they can't get onto the
path, it's only one tile wide, so they can attack her from where they are. I
haven't given them any really unique skills yet, and there are only two
types right now, but I've already found some bugs. which I shall now
explain.

First, I created a team specifically for these dark creatures, Team 11. The
AI didn't seem to like that very much. Apparently it was throwing fits
trying to get the units to move, after the Battle log took simply AGES to
load. So I added wait_until_enemy_in_sight. Didn't help. I changed their
team to 2, but that didn't help either.

I also added an effect to the Dark Void terrain that decreases one's chance
of successfully performing skills by 30%. I wanted my dark creatures to be
immune to this effect, so added a passive skill to them which increased
their chance by 200%. It was 30 at first, then 100, but even the 200 doesn't
negate the terrain effect, so the skill fails a lot. Far more often than 30%
would suggest.

Finally, there is the long wait for the battle log to load despite there
being only a few enemies within range. If this is what it does with the
amount of enemies I have on the map right now, I shudder to think how it's
going to be if I add any more.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can deal with these issues? Should I cut
down on the number of teams I have?
