Hi Niklas,
I want to add a melee skill for the monster of some type. Probably Spikes that
grow out of the body, hands or tail that increase damage. I thught also a
heavy punch or kick that might knock a giant back a tile.
Then the railgun for the robot which should finish up powers hopefully.
I was thinking of adding the transformations/mutations as upgrade items. With
these the player loses all other upgrades minus the blinding defense ne, but
gains the transformation or mutation of their choice, robot and monster
respectively.
The last generation will be the bad boys. These will be called the robot
warlord and the monster chimera.
These will have everything equipped.
Depending on how that goes, They might have more health or maybe regeneration
of some sort.
Then the last is the cyborg. This has everything of both, and will most likely
be able to eat other giants for lunch.
I have two maps to finish in the primary story ark.
I will fix up the already existing maps. Then The arena storyline. The last
is the build your own city map where a player can build and destroy a city of
their own making. That should be it.
I am kind of done with adding structures and more units like humans and
animals. There is already so many.
I still have to find some decent fireworks sounds to give the punk.
Maybe a boat as well, a troop transport.
So it is getting there. I don’t know how long it will all take. Maybe a month?

I am realizing most of these are doable with the mark2 robot.
I hav added a couple of new things.
The first is a secondary upgrade.
If a robot has both the vorpal blade and multitask module equipped, you can
activate a skill called synchronize multitasking module. This changes the
secondary attacks to secondary vorpal blade attacks.
Add this to hydraulics and you got a very powerful melee robot.
The hydraulics have the addition of the new skill, called body slam. Monsters
have this in their enhanced strength upgrade. The upgade costs have not
increased so this will be a nice little bonus.
The body slam does what the knockback does, except that the giant doesn’t go
flying.
Also added at no extra upgrade cost is the new remote control skill, mind
control for the monster.
These only require only an action to use.
The remote control is added to the drone factory upgrade. That seemed to mae
sense to have it there.
The mind control for the monster is in the new upgrade called psychic mind,
which also features mind blast. I hate the mind blast sound, but I guess it
will do for now.
I updated some sounds for the vorpal and razor claws...added a submarine. I
have a few more powers to put in...
For Shaun...alot of the things you asked for could be easily handled by the
mark2. I will see if I can do something special with the rail gun. Maybe make
it a secondary mode on the omega cannon.

I have a few.
1. a blade based unit, no lasers
vorple, rist launcher and the task module.
as well as the knockback module basically a closs quarters fighter.
I guess the grapple could be added as a power weapon but would you need it.
2. a laser based unit, laser gun, omega cannon, shield, task module for a
second attack.
3. weaponless and powerless.
task module, and maybe a shield or not.
4. minigun chain gun, multi tasking module basically all weapons.
5. the gorntlets, multitask module and shield.
6, wrestler, able to grab and slam your enemies, wrist launcher, multi tasking
module, wrist launcher.
I'd like some sort of rail cannon added to the game may an actual standard
sword or something.

I Personally like the Rogue myself, especially when it comes to collateral
damage. It's ability to snatch vehicles ad recycle quicker then others
could, means it can pump out a little more damage then normal. The Archer is
great for doing some real damage with the whirling blades. The laser also
destroying everything in a tile is very useful.
The summoner is certainly weaker. It is really meant as a support robot. In
the end I think of it as a level of difficulty that makes it challenging.

The thing I don't like about this is you can't fight different types then, I
like the mixed maps monster vs monster, monster vs bot, bot type vs bot type
not all type or bits of type are equal.
Transformers for example are not all equal as is the mak1 units.
The mak2 units can be but use different combos of skills 3-4 upgrades are now
allowed.
Usually I go with 1 attack, a power skill and either another attack or
defence.
And maybe another attack if I have the points.
Some others I may take the blades, launcher and multi core.
But it depends.
Out of all the transformers the summoner is the weakest followed by rogue.
pallidon is the best and barbarian is just below.
Sometimes its random transformer against random transformer.
