I've noticed the same phenomena amoung distros. RH 5.0 was great but 5.1
stunk. SuSE 7.0 was good, but 7.1 wasn't. 7.2 was better, but 8.0 was
worse. Mandrake 8.2 was fantastic, but I couldn't get 9.0 to install on
four out of 5 PCs I tried it on. I just installed MDK 9.1 rc 1 and it is
another fantastic release (if you don't plug your printer into the back of
your PC when you install it, and use MCC to install the printer after you've
completed your installation. This bug has been fixed in the cooker.)
