Same here. I deleted my social media after the 2016 election when my co-workers
went full racist, communist and anti-male (I'm in academia). I regret nothing.
Now I only use twitter to keep up with like-minded people in my field, no
political discussion whatsoever. My rule of thumb is to mute anyone who
declares their gender pronouns, and that seems to keep things under control.

If we’re friends and you’re not hearing from me, I’m in Facebook jail for
another 6 days.
The crime is posting conservative statements that upset the snowflakes, this
is my 2nd
incarceration for this crime. Its imperative Facebook does everything
possible to stifle free
conservative speech prior to the 2020 election. I’ll be cleaning out my
‘friends’ list, only people
I know personally or know of, everyone else is being deleted, should cut my
friends list in half.
Already have my page set to “only me” for posting, and “only friends” being
able to comment on my
post, not “friends of friends”. My advice is for any pro 2A or
pro-conservative posts to be limited
to meme’s, Facebook’s computers haven’t figured out how to read those… yet.
