Mad Dog loves to be loved and he did a great job....but he got masses of
mentions on Sunday and even got a special mention by Coldshot at end of the
evening and received a big cheer when John Morris announced the BBQ had closed.
He seemed chuffed at that at the front of the stage, so don’t worry Nick.
I managed to put him on the big ‘Thank You’ poster so hopefully he will see
that.
He only had a few chicken legs and a few sausages remaining at the end of the
evening so not sure about final night. I suppose he could get more but I am not
overly sure the custom will be as big as the Fest so don’t want him landed with
tons of stock left over.

In trying to get my thanks out in a rush after a hugely hectic day, I am
bound to inadvertently overlook someone in trying to thank all the people who
assisted yesterday, so sorry Steve and Tina and of course thank you for coming
over from Ashford and helping out yesterday.
I seem to have missed off the lovely Rick as well. Apologies.
If there is anyone else I have overlooked, please remind me, I am still
trying to get my head back to some sort of normality and it doesn’t work great
at the best of times.

Sorry I couldn’t get to talk to everyone (Tony) because I was dashing about
everywhere. I am knackered.
Will count up the cash over the coming days and Jim will be sending me the
cash for the barbecue so will be a few days before I know how much we raised.
The Carlisle is a difficult place to catch people coming in the doors
because despite blocking off a few people still came in via 3 doors. We did
lots of bucket jangling and people gave generously.
Thank you particularly to Tony Davis who was a complete star in helping me
organise this and stayed the whole day.
Also thanks to Simon, and Phil The Bus, who were both brilliant helping out.
Thanks to Nick for all the links and other bits and pieces.
The Carlisle donated £100, which if I am honest, is a bit tight and even
Chris, the manager there said so but that’s what Lynn said. He said he is going
to try and get us a bit more because they had a stonking day.
I managed to forget the big banner so it either needs rescuing or leaving
down there for next Friday.

1. Stage manager - I can double up MC'ing and SM, same as I did at Fountain.
2. Band running order.
3. Set timing and length.
4. Band biogs.
5. Who providing PA system, mics, cables, mixer etc?
6. Who flying desk?
