Simon: Which online meeting system do you use for work? Is it just audio, or
video too? We'd need it to work for approx a dozen people.
I'm happy to go down that route, for the reasons you mentioned, so we need to
explore potential online options.
So, if anyone has any ideas please say.
Don't forget Zoom is limited to around 40 minutes without paying for it, so
that's out, unless someone has an account already?

Would not an on-line meeting be in order?
This gets round all of the issues of safety etc. and works very well in
my experience. We use it at work all the time and I think we have more
communication now than we did when we were physically together in the
building, at least on the team I work with.
Like you say, who knows what will be sanctioned in July and if the
consensus is to remain cautious, all our experience of the recent
broadcast will be forgotten and lost. It is already quite some time
since we finished so an early meeting is preferable in my view.

Broadly speaking yes although since what Boris decides will probably be
him making stuff up to suite whatever Cummings wants to do that
weekend (plus his track record on making the right decisions is pretty
woeful), I won't be taking much heed of whatever he says.
Instead I'll make my own call closer to the time as to whether it seems
like a wise idea or not. My feeling right now it's it still too soon
but we'll see.
