Probably a bit late for the licence application, but just in case we need more
events to highlight.....
Spoke to Debz (Carlisle) last night and she is happy for us to link ALL the
music events at The Carlisle throughout our broadcast to our 25th anniversary
broadcast. Can’t say what the bands are playing yet , but they will follow once
confirmed. In other words it will make it a rock fest going on for 4 weeks.
In addition to this, I have tentatively agreed with her (subject to licence
approval) that we will run the HR Fest from the Carlisle on Sunday 27th May
(May Bank Holiday Sunday).
My suggestion also is (and I haven’t yet spoken to Debz about this) that we
attempt to do the last night party for HR from the Carlisle. Thoughts?
This falls within the broadcast and I believe this is the best way to do it
this time around for a number of reasons.....
a.. It does not clash with any other major events.
b.. Many bands are free that day, and some are already starting to pencil the
sates in
c.. It can be highlighted as one of the events for the licence
d.. Lots of other opportunities

Dear Rockers
To my increasing dismay, I draw the conclusion (from the Freelist messages)
that the RSL application has still not been submitted.
Why not?
What is the delay?
Please let's not have a repeat of last year's fiasco.
