Theres a new section in the lience this year which is ..
EMF licence condition .. basically it to ensure the public dont get Radiated !
ive had to caculate this for my own aerials at home as a radio Ham .
I Think we are fine with that as aerial is high enough away from the public
and deflected upwards slightly by the ground planes .
However I will calculate it using the Ofcom EMF table , thus ...
Calculation of the compliance distance as per reference levels in the 1998
ICNIRP Guidelines for general public exposure to EMF from 10 MHz to 300 GHz
(Version 0.1.2)
Input parameters
Transmitter power (EIRP)
=
100
Watts
← Enter EIRP (Watts) in cell D5. EIRP (Watts) = ERP (Watts) x 1.64
Operating frequency
=
10
MHz
← Enter frequency (MHz) in cell D6. Valid frequency range is from 10 MHz to
300,000 MHz.
Reference levels from ICNIRP 1998 Guidelines
Reactive near-field zone
=
4.77
m
Intermediate parameter used in calculation. For information only
Referencel level for power density
=
2
W/m^2
Intermediate parameter used in calculation. For information only
Calculated result
Separation distance R
=
4.77
m
→ The value of R outside the boundary of the reactive near-field zone will be
displayed in cell D14 given valid input parameters

Yes. I agree. Please contact Ofcom for confirmation of frequency and power.
This is, as it appears, anyway a confirmation of licence approval and it terms
and conditions. Perhaps they still need to set the power and frequency??

We need to seek confirmation from OFCOM.
We can’t just use whatever frequency and power we like.

Excellent news. The payment issue was obviously resolved. 😁
