Dear Martin,

Our dedicated Communications Executive Ian has kindly agreed to hand me the microphone and write the introductions to these carefully curated newsletters.

This month we’re bringing you information about the results of the Ofcom consultation, where we have successfully influenced a reduction in the proposed fee increase; an opportunity to nominate your volunteers in the Queen’s 2023 birthday honours; and much much more.

For those of you who just can’t get enough of hospital radio and have ideas and energy to spare, we have multiple vacancies open for HBA volunteers from sales and advertising manager for the new podcast platform, to social media community manager, and even the opportunity to write this newsletter. Head over to *Reach Volunteering* <https://www.hbauk.com/civicrm/mailing/url?u=8317&qid=148064> and search for HBA to view the full list of vacancies.

Speaking of newsletters, I do enjoy receiving some of yours so if your station would like to add amy.palmer@xxxxxxxxx to their mailing list then please feel free.

Remember, HBA is here for you so please do get in touch with any questions or requests.

Best Wishes,

Amy Palmer

Executive Director
