  True or false: Of all the things you can use Duct Tape for one of them
  Isn't For Duct Sealing.


   I am surprised no one picked up on  this one, but it
   is actually True!  One of the few things
   that duct  tape isn't good for is
   sealing ducts! The reason being is that In a relatively short time,
   common duct tape dries out
   and comes loose. Look for foil tape with a peel-off backing if you
   choose to tape your duct joints. Better yet, use duct mastic. Apply
   mastic anywhere two pieces of duct come together to form a lasting
   seal.
