I think that is a great way to combine both ideas! I like it, like it, like
it!
Thanks for circling back to the brainstorm on visual ideas!

I think I just came up with a way to bring the two visuals together that
doesn't seem too complicated. Here's the vision-
On the wall in the social hall, we begin the scene with a really long
banquet table with empty plates, bowls, platters, etc and (30?) empty
chairs all along the table. It's black and white at this point. As people
donate, any amount, they get a piece of bright colored food to add to the
table. When donations reach certain increments ($2000?), we add a person.
The people will all be of different cultures, religion, economic status.
Once all the chairs have filled, we've reached our goal- think "the last
supper" on a waaay different scale and more beautiful 😉 Anything beyond our
goal... we have people socializing in the background (maybe cocktail style)
so the representation key is this:
FOOD= people participation
PEOPLE= dollar amount
(it doesn't have to equally align with the amounts Marnita's Table has for
donation representation)
Oh and for the moveable representation we can have either copies of the
faces that are at the table or names that we add to name plates- then we or
Justin or whoever can tell the congregation (names or roles or just number
of people) have now showed up to the table or unconference. We want ____
more people to unite!
Thoughts?
