Hi Again,
Thanks so much for your response! No worries at all. I realize our earlier
timeline was a bit unreasonable. (Also, sorry for the delay in responding — we
moved over the weekend. That made for a hectic weekend!)
We met this weekend, and were able to narrow the pool down to five
organizations. We thought it might be a bit more reasonable to present just
these five finalist organizations, and then allow you to rank these. How does
this sound?
I sent you an invitation to a separate Google Spreadsheet
<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HEkoqewgi5YoLZKiZgkSUEVyNuXMo2XAypt9cSM5BhA/edit?usp=sharing>
that we’re using for our round two rankings. If you’re logged in with your
Jen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx account, you should be able to edit the sheet with your name
on it. (It’s here where you can input your rankings — the rest will update
automatically.)
If this sounds good to you, how long do you think you’d like to to review the
organizations? (Each organization took anywhere from 5-15 minutes to review,
depending on app length). I imagine things must busy around the office with
Justin being out on sabbatical.
(As a reminder, the link to review the proposals is here.
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/15byMZf_IU-uPbRJ_SI7eyN_-WLf2CtNCwntS2E5AMpQ/edit?usp=sharing>
Click ‘responses’, then click ‘individual’.)
If there’s any way we can help, let me know! Thanks again for all your help!
Respectfully,
Lukas

Hi Lukas,
Thanks so much for inviting me into the process. I'd love to read through the
proposals, and hear how things are coming along - and unfortunately there's
no way I can weigh in by tomorrow. If there is any leeway on this, I could
read stuff next week and make notes to share. Also, if you or anyone from the
team wanted to have a short phone call sometime this week, I'd be happy to
weigh in that way. I'm excited to hear how the process is working and who has
applied.
In gratitude,

Hi Jen,
Hope this message finds you well! Let me start off by saying I know this
message has a very short requested turn-around time, given the size of the
request -- so if you aren't able to fit this in, no worries at all!
Now, the ask: Would you be interested in helping us decide what organization
will be the recipient of First Universalist's Holiday Giving campaign this
year?
We've been working with Justin for the past few months. Now that he is on
sabbatical, we thought it might be fair to see if another member of church
leadership would like to weigh in during his absence.
Our group has been moving at a pretty good pace, and we just finalized our
Pairwise (Head-To-Head) Comparison method last night.
What would this require from you?:
You can help us by filling out a Google Spreadsheet that rates all of the
organizations that responded on 7 categories.
You should have received a link to open the spreadsheet (HG Ranking) just a
bit ago. It's very important to open the spreadsheet using the emailed link,
since all the spreadsheet is locked down except for the parts each person is
able to edit.
When you open the spreadsheet, you can navigate to the "JenCrow" sheet at the
bottom. Here, you'll see all the organizations in column B, and all of the
categories we came up with to the right of that. (Screenshot below).
<image.png>
So, essentially what you'd do, is review each organization's application
(more on how to access those below) , and then rate how well you think each
organization would do at meeting that criteria. Our scale is included in the
sheet -- 5 being fantastic, and 1 being poor.
Then, the results dashboard displays a comprehensive view of everyone's
responses. Some categories are weighed more heavily than others. Note: Even
while just a few people have filled out their rating sheets, the
comprehensive dashboard will still display a number ... it will just be lower
than expected until everyone has filled their section out.
How do I access the applications?:
Two ways:
I sent you access to view all of the Holiday Giving campaign proposals in a
separate email, as well. The best way to view the applications, I've found,
is to click on "responses" and then click on "individual," and you can flip
through the applications one by one.
Additionally, I also have attached a Word Document containing all of the
information from the applications in one comprehensive format. I did this
pretty quickly though, before going to the airport -- so it requires a bit of
inferring to know what information section goes where.
Again, I know this is a lot to ask, and if this is too much to do, that's OK!
I set the spreadsheet up so we can change the number of people weighing in,
and still get accurate results.
Any questions in the meantime, you're welcome to contact me by phone (952
240-0287 <tel:(952)%20240-0287>) or email at Lukas.Udstuen@xxxxxxxxx.
Respectfully,
