Hi all,
Just wanted to write to provide an update of where things are after our big
collection day this morning!
Of the funds we were able to count, by Sue and my count, we raised
$10,822.76.
Complicating factors:
Some of the red envelopes from the 09:00 service got jammed as they were
getting put into a safe. For those not familiar with this particular safe, it
has a slot at the top where you can put envelopes, and a turning mechanism to
push the envelopes deep into the safe. The envelopes got stuck about halfway
down. We should be able to get them OK, but no one I talked to this morning
knew the combination to the safe.
@Brad: Can you help us out with this by opening the safe to get out our
remaining envelopes? If you need, I’m happy to come in and count the last set
of donations.
We don’t know yet how many donations came in online; I saw quite a few
envelopes, so there’s a good chance our total figure will go up.
@Brad: Can you let us know how we did for online donations?
As the safe wasn’t an option, the red envelopes are locked in a nondescript
Amazon box underneath Rev. Ruth’s desk.
Finally, Sue and I were able to rescue a significant portion of the red
envelopes that looked unused. They’re also in the box, in case anyone needs
them. :)
Any other questions, let me know.
Thanks all for the great work we did on this project!
Respectfully,
Lukas Udstuen
