Greetings Fellow Democrats,
It has been a long month since my last email; I hope this letter finds you
all safe and healthy. There are a few items I would like to share:
The monthly meeting is cancelled due to the virus.
The insurrection that occurred on January 6th was perpetrated by Donald
Trump and his republican enablers. Bob Gibbs our State House Representative
for the 7th district signed the Amicus Brief filed by the AG of Texas to
throw out the votes of Pennsylvania. Ohio’s AG Dave Yost filed a brief
opposing the TX brief. The court threw it out the Texas lawsuit. Gibbs then
joined with four other Ohio House Representatives to oppose Congresses
certification votes from the states of Arizona and Pennsylvania. Even after
the Capital was ransacked, he came back into the House chamber and voted
against accepting Pennsylvania’s certified vote, continuing to promote the
big lie, this acquiescence lends to the insurgents’ bogus validation to the
attempted overthrowing the election. He has not acknowledged Joe Biden as
our next President. He has stated that the people who stormed the capital
and those who incited the mob need to be held accountable. That means he
needs to take responsibility for his lies. You can contact him, House.gov >

might be convinced to vote for impeachment?
COVID vaccinations are happening! The Holmes County Health Department is
scheduling the vaccinations. Please contact them at
newsletter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Put *subscribe* in the subject, in the text say you want to sign up for the
vaccine. Give your *name, age and phone number*. You probably should
provide your address so they know you’re a Holmes county resident. The
vaccine vile once opened must be used that day, otherwise it will be
discarded. If you let them know that you can come in on short notice, you
could possibly get a vaccine shot sooner. The health department will let
you know they got the email and put you on the waiting list. This is the
current vaccine plan.
Let’s pray that our country comes through this stronger and more united! We
will be watching the Biden Inauguration from our homes this year with great
anticipation. There have been some ideas for events with more information
coming from the Ohio Democtratic Party. I will share as the information is
provided.
