I have done some stabilization to the latest version of HIPL, hipl--main--2.6--patch-122:

* Acquire / netlink_talk race conditions on SMP hosts
* ./configure --disable-feature works now properly * Testing on Fedora 5
* "make dist" target works again
* and some other misc things

I also updated the documentation regarding to kernel compilication options. To be more specific, I have been banging my head on the wall for the entire week to find out why ESP flows on one direction only on some machine configurations (the machines were on different networks). Finally, I found out that compiling CONFIG_IP_ADVANCED_ROUTER and CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES as built-in solved those weird problems. This is now noted in the HOWTO. I recommend checking these compilation options from your .config files.

In the current main branch, Andrei has updated OpenDHT code and the documentation. Juha-Matti Tapio contributed fixes on PPC-linux platform. Tobias Heer has contributed some clean-ups. There are also some other work-in-progress features that have not been merged yet.

Diego and I have been working on binary release. We'll notify on the list
when it is finished.
