Hi, One student has subscribed to the hipl-users and hipl-dev mailing lists but it seems she cannot send mails to the mailing lists. Here are the questions she is wondering. Our platform is constituted by a client running Fedora 15 with two interfaces p5p1 and p5p2 and a server (lighttpd) running Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS. Client and servers are configured as mentioned in http://infrahip.hiit.fi/index.php?index=download, with yum and apt-get. The client runs on two interfaces p5p1 p5p2 and download a large 50MByte file on p5p1. When p5p1 is down, the Client sends an UPDATE message from p5p2 to the server. Then the Server sends a UPDATE from its interface to p5p1. This interface is not up anymore and the mobility never occurs. We do not use any Network Manager. The way we put the interface p5p1 down is: ifconfig p5p1 0.0.0.0 ifconfig p5p1 down We do not modify the route. The server is still able to reach the client on p5p2 but keep on using p5p1 to reach the client. Is there any specific routing configuration to do? hipl -k >> file.log does not create a log file. How can I log the messages from the hipl? Best regards, Ghada and Daniel -- Daniel Migault Orange Labs / Security Lab +33 (0) 1 45 29 60 52 +33 (0) 6 70 72 69 58
