Hi,

I tried to the following on my machine:

1. hipconf add server rvs oqo3.htt 7200
2. hipconf add server rvs ashenvale.infrahip.net 7200

First one fails because also "host oqo3.htt" fails. First one is successful.

I'd suggest to have a look at what "host oqo3.htt" tells you on the RVS client.

I get an LSI of 1.0.0.2 and the IPv6 address of: 2001:11:ef9c:a0ae:8bbb:478a:7425:e912

which is the same value I get for oqo3's HIT via 'hipconf get hi default' (run on oqo3).

Particularly RVS registration...

HIP DNS proxy, gets the IP addr and HI, and returns the HIT and LSI to the app.

so 'hipconf add server rvs oqo3.htt 7200' comes back with 'oqo3.htt' is not a valid IPv4 or IPv6 address.

What to do now? Perhaps this is why I am now getting the RVS SA only on the client side, not the server...
