Title:
  host id too big?

Status in Host Identity Protocol for Linux:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Thomas Jansen suspects that...

HOST_ID parameters generated by HIPL are too big. Though they contain
the actual public key of the host, they add surplus garbage to the
parameter. Also, the FQDN part is not at the appropriate location as far
as I could see. Either that, or Samu's wireshark patch needs some
  attention in that respect. ;)
I'd suspect a length argument to a memcpy to be wrong, though I had no
time to pinpoint the problem yet. It would be great if someone could take
a look at a HOST_ID parameter produced by HIPL and confirm that it's
  actually wrong.
