the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead.

PAR to offer Legislative workshops on Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island this
October!

Do you have family, friends or colleagues who live on a neighbor Island and
want to participate in the lawmaking process? Know anyone interested in making
a difference but feeling too far away to have any influence at all? Are you
looking for allies on the neighbor Islands to engage in your advocacy efforts
next session? We can help!

This October, the Public Access Room (PAR)<http://lrbhawaii.org/par/> will be
offering our free "We the Powerful!" teaching session on
Maui<http://lrbhawaii.org/par/workshp/mauiflyer15.pdf>,
Kauai<http://lrbhawaii.org/par/workshp/kauaiflyer15.pdf>, and Hawaii
Island<http://lrbhawaii.org/par/workshp/hawaiiflyer15.pdf>. The workshop will
explain Hawaii's lawmaking process and provide tips on how the public can
easily and effectively participate in the discussion. No registration is
required.

The workshop schedules are listed below, with links to the publicity flyers. A
press release with additional information is also attached.

Please help us get the word out by sharing this information with anyone you
know who would like to learn more about how to advocate at the legislature! Let
us know if you have any questions or would like more information or materials.
Mahalo!
