I just got done reviewing my bill and the insert. Information is all
over the place and is inconsistent. I found an old document (attached)
with an explanation about why the solid waste rates have increased.
Basically, they haven't raised the rates in about 20 years, so they're
now raising the rates to cover costs.
I would still reference the insert for the rates, since it's probably
more accurate with how the bill is calculated. I'm guessing it's 75% of
$47.25 per unit plus 75% of Multi-Family Tier 2 $4,500/107 + 25% of last
year's rates $9.57 = $69.37, but that's under by $5.10. Next year, we
may be charged ~$96 instead of $74.47. You then add the $34 911 fee to
total $108.47.
I tried to find out our tier, but it doesn't show one for our complex.
Based on the math, we're probably tier 2.

Does anyone know why the assessment more than doubled from last year? It
appears not to be in accordance with the enclosed brochure of fees for town
homes.
